![]() ![]() So then they leave since there are no proper guides or explanations of things. When they go the official forums for help they are met with outdated guide and elitist attitudes most of the time. As for new players they play it for a while but then either hit a wall or realize you need to multibox or pay money to level faster and also you need to find a guild and people willing to help. Especially if they have no one to play with. The nostalgic ones stay for little then leave due to remembering why they left in the first place. Those players are a mix of new and nostalgic players. Players coming into the game makes it seem like it is a resurgence. It's as if they really do not have a plan and when they do it is poorly executed. Nothing truly new gets added to the game to make it worth while anymore. Most other companies like to expand the options and build potential for players. This company has a nasty habit of doing that. Imagine leveling a character gearing it all for it to be nerfed and useless and have it's playstyle drastically change to the point that it is unrecognizable. It has Seasons 1, 2, 2.5 (The OVAs), and 3. Wakfu is more serialized, so you will notice if you randomly jump around the episodes. Which forces players to abandon characters or quit the game or buy class change scrolls from the cashshop. The Wakfu series takes place approx like 300 years (I think) after the Dofus animated series, and pretty much anything that happened in Dofus does not matter. The players who are still around are die-hards no lifers whales and kama sellers. It shows the population has gone down and does not warrant separate servers. Anytime a game has to merge it's servers into one server it is not a good sign. The game is slowly dieing just like every other mmo. It's hard for me to recommend Wakfu given. I wasn't able to find a fix for that (although my friend said he had one, but didn't remember what it was) either. When I managed to log in on a different character, I found that the game client still had the same issue where my character would move more slowly if I tabbed out of game (rather than simply reducing the framerate). Asking players on discord was comically unhelpful, as I was simply told a number of times to "just change the name" when the name field was read-only. I tried to give Wakfu a shot the other day after a friend encouraged me to try it out again, and I ran into MANY issues with recustomizing characters, renaming characters with changed names post-merge, and was simply unable to log in with the character I wanted to. I think Dofus' population is much, much larger than Wakfu, which has the effect of making many things easier to do in-game (such as finding crafters, groups, advice, etc), and there are generally many more resources on the game available online. GOUL'PASS, a scorecard that records your epic accomplishments in each game and lets you unlock all kinds of great stuff. MMOs rarely die entirely, and they often find an equilibrium of sorts - I played an MMO in the early 2000s that only had a few dozen players concurrent on average. DOFUS, WAKFU, Retro, WAVEN Goultard will be everywhere, and you You'll be Goultard And from one game to the next, you'll have to annihilate waves of Shushus pouring in faster and faster from the Shustuft Crust. Wakfu has also had a lot of ups and downs where they've massively reworked the game - I heard that they're finally giving in and letting resources regenerate naturally in the next update? In the manga, novels, and graphic novels, you'll come across Azra, Saïd Sassine, Christophe Lambert, Faouz B., Vincent Lamassonne, Jebedaï, Adrian, Dae Jin Kim, Éric Hérenguel, Wuye Changjie, Tom Gobart, Laurent Bramardi, Mig, Saturax, Maxe L'Hermenier, and others.Wakfu may be experiencing a resurgence at the moment due to the server merges (and may have hit enough of a critical mass where there are listings on the market for a variety of levels and have an actual economy), but when I've tried to play in the past everything was deserted, with maybe 100 total listings on the markets across the server. Whether they're created by people from Ankama or external artists, all the stories are the fruit of an encounter. ToT (WAKFU Manga), co-founder of Ankama and creator of the universe known as the Krosmoz.
